in collaboration with the Albert Schweitzer Institute announces a competition for

Schweitzer Regional Conference on Gender-Based Violence as a Public Health Problem
in Chisinau, Moldova, 31 January - 2 February, 2002

     The goal of this conference is to introduce gender-based violence as a public health issue of concern to health professionals.

     Eligible to participate: doctors, nurses and counselors working in primary care and reproductive health care settings; representatives of women's NGOs working on gender violence; media representatives.
